Or Why Don't You Try...Vox Pathfinder 10
For under £55 you can get something louder and better than a mini-amp, but still very portable and cheap! The little Vox Pathfinder 10 has a grown-up tone, and even famous recording artists have been seen using one. This is a great little amp for players of any level...for either home practice or recordings, when a bigger amp is not necessary and all that you need is "the tone".
Cons: doesn't work on battery, but mains. So not as portable as a mini-amp
Pros: Everything else! The price, looks, tone...you'll never outgrow your Pathfinder! Kids may start on one of them, and in years to come still be using them on recordings!
