Yamaha’s Electronic Keyboard Division is delighted to announce the introduction of the first new product in their 2008 range- the P85 portable digital piano. Replacing the P70, the P85 is an exciting and versatile new member of the very popular ‘Personal Piano’ range.

Range of Options

The slim-line P85 is available in both black (P-85) or silver (P-85S) finish and weighs in at less than 12kg, perfect for the musician on the move. However, add the optional stand (L-85 or L85S) and the fixed three-pedal section (LP-5) and the instrument will suit virtually any interior décor, whilst occupying less space than most coffee tables. The P-85 has a RRP of just £499.99, and together with the optional stand and pedals, the complete instrument has a RRP of just £599.99

Piano Performance

The gorgeous piano sounds of the P-85 feature meticulous digital recordings of a concert grand piano. This, combined with graded hammer keyboard action (GHS) brings the high-quality sound and natural piano response expected from Yamaha.

With a total of 10 stunning sampled sounds, dual voice option and built-in song recorder the P-85 is a truly flexible instrument. The MIDI sockets allow easy connection to other MIDI equipment or a PC while the quality stereo amplifier / speaker system ensure superior sonic reproduction.
