Firstly I must say that I'm very pleased in the service I got from Dolphinmusic. They delivered the instrument promptly and took the trouble to keep me informed until the package had safely arrived. If you buy from DolphinMusic, you can safely expect to have a good service.
Then to my first impressions of the instrument. The tone of the instrument is pleasantly mellow and surprisingly resonant. Without a doubt, with this instrument you can succesfully play the sweetest cantilena to the fullest effect.
Valves work without trouble (although they are a bit too light to my taste) and the overall finish of the instrument is good. C sharp and d in the first octave need a bit adjustment as they are too sharp, but as this is usually the case, it should be considered more as a property and not as a defect.
In a sum: I sincerely believe that in this price range you can't expect to find a better instrument. And you must look really hard if you are going to find it in a better price than in DolphinMusic.
